WHO WE ARE

A Movement Born in Central Pennsylvania

Lancaster Film Initiative (LFI) is a federally recognized 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization dedicated to creating opportunities for Christian actors, filmmakers, and creatives of all ages — utilizing their talents right here in central Pennsylvania. We exist to produce bold, biblically faithful stories and build a creative ecosystem where conviction leads and craft excels.

Founded by veteran faith-based actor Robert Amaya, LFI was born out of a simple refusal: no storyteller should ever be pushed aside for their Christian faith. We are building the pathway they deserve — for every
actor, filmmaker, and creative, regardless of where they are in their journey, through real productions, real mentorship, and real community.

Formation

We equip emerging and established creatives through mentorship, training, and hands-on experience that strengthens their craft and expands their opportunities.

We develop and produce films that reflect artistic excellence and meaningful narratives, creating opportunities for local talent both in front of and behind the camera.

Community

Through local film production, we support area businesses, create jobs, and strengthen the creative community throughout Central Pennsylvania.
